Privacy Policy — QR Scanner

QR Scanner ("the app") is developed by Aurevix. This policy explains what data the app accesses, what it does with it, and what it never does.

Camera

The app requests camera access solely to scan QR codes in real time. Camera frames are processed on-device to detect and decode codes; no photo, video, or camera frame is ever saved, stored, uploaded, or transmitted anywhere.

Content you scan or create

Every QR code you scan, and every QR code you generate in the app (text, links, Wi-Fi credentials, contact cards), is saved only in local storage on your device so it appears in your in-app History. This data:

• Is never sent to, or stored on, any server we operate — the app has no backend and no user accounts.
• Stays on your device and is removed if you delete individual history items, use "Delete All," or uninstall the app.

Photo library access

If you choose to save a QR code you created, the app requests photo library access at that moment to write the image to your gallery. This permission is only used for that explicit, user-initiated action.

Third-party services

The app uses the following third-party services, each of which may collect data under its own privacy policy:

• Google AdMob — displays ads in the app and may collect advertising identifiers and usage data to serve and measure ads. See Google's Privacy Policy.
• Firebase Crashlytics — collects crash reports and diagnostic data (device model, OS version, stack traces) to help us find and fix bugs. See Firebase's Privacy and Security page.

What the app does not do

• No account creation, sign-in, or personal profile of any kind.
• No selling or sharing of your scanned/created QR content with anyone.
• No tracking of your location.

Children's privacy

QR Scanner is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the update will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date.
